Album Review: The Introduction of Marcus Cooper

Prepared for release on Tuesday June 9th, ex-Pretty Ricky crooner, Pleasure P, brings "The Introduction of Marcus Cooper." When one thinks of Pleasure P, they think of Pretty Ricky and in my opinion most of their songs were oversexed and borrowed from previous 90's boy groups ( See: Jodeci, H-Town, and Silk).

This album was definitely a pleasant surprise upon pressing play. It appears the singer worked with quite a few producers for his sound including Dre & Vidal, Cool-N-Dre, Ne-Yo, and Tank. Pleasure P offers quite a few solid R&B cuts on this album. He actually has a more commercial urban sound compared to that of his past group.

Standout songs include: "Under", "Let Me", and "Dream in the Air." This album is definitely a good look for Pleasure P, he might even consider changing his name to Marcus Cooper. (More Commercial, lol)
